Director of the Stability & Reconstruction program at the National Defense University, Washington, D.C., where he obtained his Post-Doctorate. He is a Doctor by COPPE/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Master by King´s College, University of London. He is the founder of CeTRIS and a consultant in the formulation of policies and strategies for various countries and in country risk analyses for public and private concerns.

Mehmet Ozkan
PhD candidate at Sevilla University, Spain. M.A. and MSc in International Politics from University of Johannesburg (South Africa) and Linkopings University (Sweden). B.A. in International Relations from Istanbul University, Turkey, where he is also affiliated with Ankara-based Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) as researcher. Besides being a visiting student at UPB-Medellin, Colombia in 2009, he has been a Visiting International Fellow at New Delhi-based Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA), India, in 2010.

Constantino Hermanns Xavier

PhD candidate and Fulbright scholar in South Asian Studies at Johns Hopkins University (SAIS), Washington, D.C.; M.A. and M.Phil. in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, where he also worked as media correspondent and at the Portuguese Embassy (2004-2008). Former research associate at the Portuguese Institute of International Relations and lecturer in Comparative Politics at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2008-09).

Ashley Charles Jenner
Graduate Degree in Economics from London University and in Finance by the British Institute of Bankers. With 39 years of experience in capital markets in Brazil, Europe and USA, he was an Executive Director in several banks. He is the Director of Investments of Astra Investimentos Ltda, an independent fund asset manager and CEO of Barham Financial Services, specialized in preparing companies for Private Equity investments.

Giseli Cabrini
Graduated in Jornalism at Cásper Líbero, worked at Folha de S. Paulo, Gazeta Mercantil and Editora Abril. Has experience in corporate communication at Fecomercio-SP. She holds a Master Degree in Political Science by PUC-SP University.

Fabio Silveira
Director of RC Consultores, he holds a Master degree by the University of Grenoble and a Postgraduate degree by the University of Genebra. He graduated in Economics at USP.

Gerard McCann
The Mellon Fellow in Transnational History at the University of Oxford. He is Fellow of St Cross College and a Research Fellow in the Politics Group at Nuffield College, Oxford. He is publishing two books on India-Africa relations - a co-edited collection (with Dr. E.E. Mawdsley) to be published with Pambazuka Press, and a sole-authored monograph with Zed Books 'African Arguments' series. Both will appear in 2011.

Que Guanghui
Master in International Politics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), graduated in History at Capital Normal University, with training courses in journalism at Cardiff University. Worked in Global Times from 2004 to 2009, winning many prizes as best reporter. Presently, Editor-in-chief of Global Times Mobile News.

Brian Gabe Orland
MA Candidate in South Asia and International Economics at The School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University. He did research internship at the Strategic Foresight Group in Mumbai and at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies in New Delhi. He also did public health research at a leprosy hospital in rural Tamil Nadu. Received BA in Political Science from Davidson College, North Carolina.

Cesar Augusto Lambert de Azevedo

Doctorate Degree in Political Science by USP, Post-Graduate Degree in Maritime Policy and Strategy at the Naval War School and Graduate Degree in Naval Science from the Naval War School. He was a Defense Attaché for Brazil in China and South Korea between 1998 and 2000. Professor of FACAMP, he is a researcher in the area of foreign policy and supervisor of working groups on Chinese foreign policy.

PhD Candidate in Chinese Studies, Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. M.A. in Politics with specialization in International Relations and M.Phil at the same university.

José Medeiros da Silva

Daniel Alvarenga
Master in International Studies at the Peace Research Institute of Oslo and Stellenbosch University (South Africa). Graduated in International Relations and Politics at the University of Sussex (UK) and the International School for Humanities and Social Sciences (Netherlands). Worked as an analyst at the Stellenbosch Center of Chinese Studies, as a journalist in the World Investment News and as a freelancer at The Economist Intelligence Unit (Ivory Coast).

Lynus Paul Misquitta

Ph.D in Political Science at the University of Mumbai, Post-Graduate Degree in Journalism and Graduate Degree in Economics. His Doctorate Pressure Groups and Democracy in India was published by Sterling Publishers, New Delhi. Worked for 12 years at the Times of India and today is a free-lance journalist.

Liu Bin
Graduate Degree in Foreign Trade from Beijing International Studies University. Works in the area of tourism and has already travelled all over China. Her first book, The ancient villages of China, was launched in 2007 and talks about geography, history, architecture and local customs.

Cai Yuelei
Master of Occidental Economic History at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Editor of Lifeweek Magazine, published in Mandarin on economics and finance. Has great experience in interviewing executives from Chinese and foreign companies as well as representatives of the government and other institutions in China.

Marcelo Sette Mosaner
Founder of Golden Bridge International Business, company with expertise in cost reduction and security increase for import processes from China. He graduated in International Relations at PUC University São Paulo and specialized in Chinese language and culture at Peking University. He lived in the US, China and New Zealand and masters English, Spanish, French and Mandarin, besides Portuguese.

Ming Tsung Wu
Director of the NinHao Center of Language and Culture and Mandarin professor. Was born in Taiwan and has lived in Brazil for 17 years, 10 of which dedicated to the educational area. Published several didactic books. Made presentations at the Brazil-China Economic Development Chamber (Course on Corporate Brazil-China Etiquette) and at Aduaneiras (China: Business Trip).

Susi Wang 
Graduate Degree in Business Administration, she is a specialist in Tourism and a consultant on leisure, study and business trips to China. Born in Beijing, she has lived in São Paulo for 18 years. She travels frequently to different Chinese provinces for commercial events and visits to relatives and friends, all of which allows her to live out social, political and economic changes close up.

Louella Pinto Lobo
Post-graduate Degree in English Literature and Graduate Degree in Psychology and French from the University of Mumbai. Worked as a coordinator in an IB Cambridge School. Works in script editing and writes poetry.

Graduate Degree from the Beijing University of Technology, worked as a technical coordinator on civil constructions. Was born in Beijing and immigrated with her family to Brazil, where she has been living for more than 18 years. She has profound knowledge of the secrets and curiosities of the cuisine of her native country.

Austin Pinto-Lobo
Graduate Degree in Electronics and Communications, he worked in the Merchant Navy for 25 years and had the chance to get to know almost the entire world, including Brazil. He is presently working as a consultant for a shipping company.
